Where digital infrastructure leaders talk openly about what’s next

For the first time at Metro Connect USA, the Digital Infrastructure Leaders Dinner brings together CEOs, C-level executives, board members and founders from digital infrastructure owner and operator companies for a private, invitation-only discussion.

Following successful editions in Austin, Cannes, Nairobi, Singapore and Dubai, the Forum creates a confidential environment where leaders can step away from the main conference and speak candidly about the decisions, challenges and forces shaping the future of digital infrastructure.

This is an open, peer-to-peer discussion, held under Chatham House Rule.

Speak openly and candidly

You shape what’s being discussed

Tell us what’s keeping you thinking

Before the Forum, we’ll ask every invited leader what they want on the table.

We build the agenda around the room

From investment and capacity to power, connectivity, infrastructure growth and the issues emerging next, the priorities of our invitees shape the discussion.

Then we close the doors

With Chatham House Rule in place, you can share what’s working, what’s not and what you’re seeing in the market without the constraints of a public stage.

Our latest Digital Infra Leaders Forum at Metro Connect Fall

What happens when digital infrastructure leaders get around the table?

At the latest Digital Infrastructure Leaders Forum in Austin, alongside Datacloud USA and Metro Connect Fall (September 1 - 3), the conversation moved quickly into some of the biggest questions facing the market.

The changing US capacity pipeline

Hyperscale campuses or more distributed infrastructure?

Leaders discussed how planned US data center capacity is fragmenting geographically, from major hyperscale campuses to smaller regional and rural sites, and whether AI demand will continue to drive both large-scale training infrastructure and more distributed inference capacity.

The next phase of M&A

What remains after years of consolidation?

The room explored a changing M&A environment after years of consolidation among mid-market data center providers. With roughly half of operators serving 250kW–2MW leases in the top 25–50 US markets described as having already changed hands, discussion turned to tighter financing conditions, valuations and competition for the independent assets that remain.

Behind-the-meter power

When access to gas becomes the real constraint

A detailed discussion on behind-the-meter power in Texas looked beyond electricity availability to the challenge of securing firm natural gas supply. Leaders explored what that means for site viability, resilient power strategies and increasingly self-sufficient data center developments.
