Gill is a seasoned energy professional with over two decades of experience. A serial entrepreneur, he has successfully founded and managed two renewable energy firms, Candi Solar and Hodson Energy, in the Utility and Industrial sectors. These ventures have raised over $100 million in investments. Gill has also served as Head of Project Finance at NRG, where he worked on financing natural gas, wind, and solar assets.

With a diverse background encompassing geophysics, oil & gas exploration, solar energy, storage, combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) technologies, fixed income, policy, and hedge funds, Gill has held senior management roles at renowned organizations such as Goldman Sachs' Fixed Income division, NRG Energy, Schlumberger, and Avantus/8minutenergy. With extensive experience in the natural gas sector,he has a proven track record of overseeing senior management and ensuring compliance with critical environmental regulations, including the Clean Air Act, emissions standards, and FERC guidelines. Successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects focused on reducing carbon emissions while driving operational excellence and regulatory adherence

Gill's new venture, Truss Energy, is run by a group of professionals with decades of experience in developing and managing thermal and renewable power projects. Truss Energy is currently focused on developing sustainable data center projects in the United States.

Gill holds a degree in Computational Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
