Peter Appel

Mr. Appel oversees the Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Land Acquisitions programs for PTI. Mr. Appel has been involved in the tower sector for over twelve years, diligencing, structuring and negotiating tower transactions across six continents, and has been involved in many of the industry’s most important transactions during this time.

Prior to PTI, Mr. Appel was the SVP of M&A and Corporate Development at Vertical Bridge. Before joining Vertical Bridge, Mr. Appel was an Investment Banker at Citigroup for ten years covering the digital infrastructure sector, where Mr. Appel closed over $58 billion in M&A. Mr. Appel also co-founded the Valuation & Strategic Analysis group at Providence Equity Partners and began his career in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Appel received his MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University. Mr. Appel is also a CFA charterholder.
