Ben joined FuelCell Energy as VP, Business Distribution Operations in October 2003 and has been instrumental in establishing the Company’s overseas presence particularly in Asia, where he led the market entry into the South Korea market with POSCO Energy, and in Europe, where he helped to establish FuelCell Energy Solutions. In the mid-2010s Ben took over responsibility for behind-the-meter sales in the U.S., securing orders for projects with a diverse set of end use customers in California and the Northeast U.S. including hospitals, wastewater treatment facilities, and universities. Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, Ben served as VP International and OEM Sales for Capstone Turbine Corp. in California, where he helped with the design of industry-leading low emissions combustion systems and later in a sales role with Capstone’s entry into the Japan market. Ben is a registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from the University of California campuses at Irvine and Berkeley respectively.
